Are you always on the lookout for the latest trends in style and makeup? Do you love giving your friends and family members makeovers? If you answered yes to these questions, a career as a professional makeup artist may be right for you! You can learn about proper skincare and makeup techniques by enrolling in an esthetics and makeup program. During your time, you will learn about the latest makeup trends, such as these trends of fall 2012:
Smoky Eye in Brown
The smoky eye trend has been in style for a while now, but this season is going to see a new twist on this classic look. Makeup artists typically use black and metallic eye shadows and liners to create the smoky eye. This season’s trend, however, uses subtle and sophisticated browns. Use brown shadows and liners to create a soft and earthy smoky eye.
Rosy and Natural Cheeks
Blush is an essential cosmetic tool that enhances the appearance of the cheekbones, resulting in a thin, chic, and feminine-looking face. Heavy blush can be fun for a dramatic look, but you can give your clients a fresh and feminine look with a rosy and natural cheek this fall. Use soft shades of pink to create a delicate glow on the cheeks and then add visual interest by emphasizing either the eyes or the lips.
Dark Red Lips
Every woman should have at least one tube of red lipstick that allows her to show off her sassy and wild side. You can give your clients another ruby option by following the dark red lip trend that has been seen all over the runways. Choose deep, dark, and bold shades of red that can be paired with fresh cheeks and subtle eyes.
You can learn how to create these trendy looks by enrolling here at Capri Cosmetology. Give us a call at (845) 536-5046 for more information about our New York cosmetology courses.
